Too many working Texans are left on the sidelines today, ignored or overlooked by the current political system. Low-wage workers and working class families alike are left without support and without protections. The fact that these workers continue to succeed in spite of the challenges and flat-out workplace discrimination is a testament to their strength. But they shouldn’t have to work so hard for basic human dignity.
